Draft Rhode Island 2012 Annual Monitoring Network Plan posted for public
comment  

 

States are required to submit an air monitoring network plan to the
United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in July of each
year.  The plan must provide a description of the state's current air
monitoring network, demonstrate that the network conforms to EPA
requirements, and discuss any plans to remove or move a monitoring
station in the 18 months following the plan submittal. Rhode Island's
draft 2012 Annual Monitoring Network Plan has been posted for public
review at: http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/benviron/air/pdf/amnet12.pdf .

  

 

RI DEM's Office of Air Resources will accept comments on the proposed
plan until July 25, 2012.  Comments and questions should be addressed
