Proposed "Rhode Island Air Dispersion Modeling Guidelines for Stationary
Sources" Posted for Public Comment

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management (RI DEM), Office
of Air Resources, is updating its dispersion modeling guidelines to
delineate procedures to be used for conducting dispersion analyses to
demonstrate compliance with the Acceptable Ambient Levels for toxic air
contaminants listed in Rhode Island Air Pollution Control Regulation No.
22, "Air Toxics," and with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards
(NAAQS) for criteria air pollutants. The proposed updated modeling
guidelines are attached and are posted at
http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/benviron/air/index.htm#dispmod12. RI
DEM's Office of Air Resources will accept comments on the proposed
guidelines until December 3, 2012.
