[Airresources] DERA applications being accepted

Good Afternoon.

The Office of Air Resources is pleased to announce that Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) applications are now being accepted. DERA reimbursement grants provide support for projects that protect human health and improve air quality by reducing harmful emissions from diesel engines. Reimbursement grants will be given to on-road heavy duty diesel vehicle replacement and marine engine replacement projects. A limited number of awards will be given out on a competitive basis. Applications will be accepted through November 12, 2018. Attached is a copy of the RFP and application. For more information on the grants please see our website, or email Catherine Menke.

MARINE ONLY: A workshop will be held on October 24, 2018 in the second-floor conference room of the Superior Trawl building (55 State St, Narragansett, RI). The workshop will start at 2pm and last one hour. DEM staff will review the RFP, application process, grant requirements, and answer any questions.
