[Airresources] PUBLIC NOTICE: Updates to Electricity Sector GHG Accounting

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management's Office of Air Resources (OAR) is adopting an updated methodology to account for electricity sector greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The updated methodology better incorporates all Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) towards the state's electricity sector emissions. Public comments will be accepted through October 31, 2022. Feedback on whether to incorporate this updated methodology in previous inventories is specifically appreciated.
