[Airresources] ZEV Credit Report - 2023 Model Year

The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management's Office of Air Resources releases the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) credit reports for 2023 model year.

The purpose of the report is to provide data that illustrates the status of each manufacturer's compliance with 250-RICR-120-05-37<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/Regulations/Part/250-120-05-37> (Adoption reference: CCR CFR, Title 13, § 1962.2). The ZEV Regulation requires certain automobile manufacturers to produce ZEVs for sale in Rhode Island. The reports include manufacturer volume status and vehicles delivered for sale in Rhode Island, as well as manufacturer's ZEV credit balances through August 31, 2023. Positive credit balances represent a successful "over compliance" with the ZEV Regulation. Manufacturers can use these balances to provide flexibility in the timing and production of bringing new clean cars to the market to meet the ZEV requirements in the coming years.
