<p class="MsoNormal">Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is pleased to announce the next year of funding under the Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA).<b> DERA reimbursement grants provide support for projects that protect human health and
improve air quality by reducing harmful emissions from diesel engines.</b> Attached to this email is the Request for Proposals (RFP) and both Marine and On-Road Applications. <a href="http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/air/diesel-reduction.php"><span style="color:windowtext">C</span>lick
here</a> to be redirected to our DERA webpage, which gives a brief background of the grant program and projects from previous years.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">On-Road eligible projects are vehicle replacements, which involves buying a new vehicle and scrapping an existing one in your fleet. Marine eligible projects are engine replacements, which involves buying a new engine(s) and scrapping
your existing one. The application period will officially close on November 8<sup>th</sup> at 4pm. A limited number of awards will be given out on a competitive basis. Applications can be submitted either via email to
