[DEM-Coastal] Newport Gear Storage and Parking

Newport Berth Holders,

Please remove any gear from loading and unloading areas on the pier. Loading and unloading areas are used only for the temporary storage of gear and all gear must be removed within 24 hours, per Coastal regulation.  Gear storage areas must be kept clean and free of trash and debris at all times.  No storage of material other than commercial fishing gear is permitted in any gear storage area. Any misuse of gear storage areas will result in revocation of permitted use, per Coastal regulations.  Storage of unrefrigerated bait must be in plastic barrels without leaks and all unrefrigerated bait must be salted down and covered.  Please also remove all of your wooden pallets and don't leave any behind on the pier.

Parking at the pier shall be allowed only in allocated or designated parking spaces.  Any vehicles which are found in areas designated as No Parking Zones shall be tagged and fined or towed at owner's expense. Lastly, please remove your boat trailers from any designated parking spaces.
