2024 Commercial Striped Bass Tag Reports and Unused Tags

Please be reminded that RI dealers who received commercial striped bass tags in 2024 must return all unused tags and tag reports to DEM no later than January 1, 2025. Failure to return all unused tags and tag reports may result in the dealer being ineligible to receive tags in 2025, pursuant to regulations (Part 3 - Finfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-3>, section 3.8.2(E)). Unused 2024 RI commercial striped bass tags and reports for 2024 tags may be returned by mail, or dropped off during business hours 8:30-4 Monday-Friday, to one of the following DEM offices:

Division of Marine Fisheries
3 Fort Wetherill Road
Jamestown, RI 02835

Division of Coastal Resources
301 Great Island Road
Narragansett, RI 02882

Please note that State Offices WILL BE CLOSED on December 25, 2024, and January 1, 2025. Tagging reports may also be submitted via email (nicole.lengyel at dem.ri.gov<mailto:nicole.lengyel at dem.ri.gov>) or fax (f: 401-423-1925). Anyone with questions should contact the Division of Marine Fisheries at 401-423-1923.
