<u>informational outreach meeting</u> to inform the Rhode Island Lobster industry on NOAA’s Final Rule resulting in changes to the

Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan [fisheries.noaa.gov]</a>. These changes will impact the Rhode Island State and Federal waters participants of LCMA 2. The Department will also be administering a relief package with funds available from NOAA meant to provide assistance to
those participants affected by this rule. The Department will be seeking industry input on the spend plan for this relief package at this meeting.</span></p>
