Commercial Tautog Tags



REMINDER!  Please be reminded that RI commercial fishermen who received commercial tautog tags in 2022 must return all unused tags and tag reports to DEM no later than February 15, 2023.  Failure to return all unused 2022 tags and tag reports may result in ineligibility to receive tags in 2023 (see Part 3 - Finfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-3>, section 3.13.2(C)).   Tagging reports may be submitted via email (Nichole.ares at dem.ri.gov<mailto:Nichole.ares at dem.ri.gov<mailto:Nichole.ares at dem.ri.gov%3cmailto:Nichole.ares at dem.ri.gov>>), mail, or fax (f: 401-423-1925).  Unused tags and reports for 2022 tags may be returned by mail, or dropped off during business hours 8:30-4 Monday-Friday, to one of the following DEM offices:

Reports and tags must identify the license holders name and license number.  Reports and tags that do not identify the license holders name and license number will not be accepted and may result in ineligibility to receive tags in the future.  Additional reporting forms can be found on the Division website at: http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/tautogrpt.pdf.
