Good day to all,

We would like to remind everyone that both loading/unloading zones are for use by any vessel regardless of inshore/offshore use regardless of size.  If you believe a vessel is misusing a loading/offloading zone, please contact myself or James O'Connor, superintendent of state piers, with said issue and we will take appropriate actions if needed or explain circumstances if there are any.  We are all here for each other and without it, this pier will not survive. Please be courteous and use proper channels.

This Friday, March 24th, I will be in the office handing out parking passes while the tautaug tag pop-up will be happening.  This will be from 10AM to 1PM.  Reminder to all captains I WILL NOT be able to give passes to crew members without their name being on your Captains Request for Parking Stickers form first, as well as captains signature on Fisherman Parking Request form.  Please see attached forms and print them out as needed to help the process move quickly. There will be forms in the office if needed.

As a notice, tautaug tags will not be available in Newport after the pop-up, you will need to go to DEM's Locations in Jamestown or Galilee to get them.
