Afternoon all,

As the weather gets colder we are starting our winter operations. From this day forward we want to remind you all that:

  * All hoses from this point forward must be disconnected from the frost-proof hydrants when not in use.
  * The L-piers water will be turned off later this week or next, until the springtime.
  * Please keep all the bulkheads clear of any debris.
  *   Keep all fire-lanes clear.
  * Please keep all lanes of travel in the port clear per RIDEM regulation 1.12-A. If you are out Fishing please park your vehicle in a space, not doing so will possibly result in a fine and/or tow.
  * All gear must be removed from unloading zones and made accessible for plowing if needed.
  * All gear must be removed from the entrance to the L-Pier to allow for plowing when needed.
  * Keep all areas around all hydrants, frost-proof and fire, and all electric pedestals clear, 10 ft. minimum per RIDEM regulation 1.12-B. The Newport Fire Marshall has requested that this be done ASAP and should be kept this way year round.

Any question please feel free to contact me or see me in the office.
