[DEM-Pier9] REMINDER; Parking, bulkhead use, gear storage and trash

To all Berth Holders:

As we begin the season there are a few things to address, please see attached map for reference:

Parking:
We have a limited number of spaces

  *   Parking Passes are a must for all fishermen on the pier NO EXCEPTIONS
     *   Violators will be ticketed
     *   If a ticket is given in error, court is the only way to get ticket expunged
     *   Parking Sticker MUST BE in the front window, easily visible
        *   Please remove all past year stickers from vehicle
  *   Park in spaces provided
     *   Box trucks between the two center telephone poles
     *   Only passenger vehicles will be allowed in the smaller spaces.
     *   No parking in fire lanes or lane of travel
  *   NO PARKING in spaces designated for lobster shack, NO EXCEPTIONS
     *   Violators will be ticketed
  *   Only vehicles that are in current use, IE being used for a pickup or active to current trip, will be allowed on site, all other need be offsite.
  *   Please make use of off-site parking like the one at the bottom of the Newport Bridge, it is free, to alleviate space usage.
  *   NO trailer shall be parked on site unless in storage area. All trailers need to be removed when not in active use from the pier.

Berthing:

  *   West Bulkhead is for Immediate loading/unloading only
     *   No vessel shall be tied to the pier prior to trucks being on site
     *   Working on your vessel on the bulkhead is allowed at DEM's discretion
        *   Contact Robert Baker and/or James O'Connor prior to vessel work, this is a must.
  *   The unloading Area just to the southwest of the office is 4 HOUR MAX loading/unloading.
     *   Work is allowed in the area, please notify DEM of work being completed
     *   If you need more than 4 hours, please notify Robert Baker and/or James O'Connor
  *   Gear may be kept in that area for 24 hours only.
     *   If it not moved within 24 hours or prior approval by DEM it will be considered improperly stored gear and will be treated as such

Gear:

  *   All gear must be kept within lines of storage areas. If painting is required, please let Robert Baker know so he can repaint.
  *   Only fishing gear shall be stored in storage spaces.
  *   No Gear shall be placed around pedestals, frost proof hydrants or Fire Hydrants.
     *   Fire Hydrants must be kept accessible for use per Fire Marshall.
  *   DEM has the right to inspect and request that a cleaning of gear storage be completed
Trash:

  *   Dumpsters are for boat waste only.
     *   Any waste thrown away that is not from a vessel in port will be deemed as illegal dumping on state property and subject to fines by DEM law enforcement.
  *   All areas around dumpsters shall be kept free and clear of all waste.
  *   All Pallets must be disposed of offsite and properly removed from state property.
     *   Any pallets left near the dumpsters or on the pier in any condition will be deemed as illegal dumping and subject to fines by DEM law enforcement.
  *   All trash must be removed from gear storage areas and docks by berth holders.
  *   Appliances are not to disposed of in dumpsters and are to be properly disposed of offsite.
