[Owtsinfo] REMINDER: New RIDEM OWTS A/E Requirements Effective December 1st, 2024

Attention OWTS Designers:



Please remember effective December 1st, 2024 any application containing A/E technology will require the certification to be submitted with the OWTS permit submission. Attached to this email you will find a list of the components that require certifications and an overview of this new policy.



Some important points:

  *   To support getting permits out in a timely manner we are requesting all designers to continue submitting the certificates, even if already provided to the department, while we are establishing our list.

  *   Any submission lacking the required certifications stamped with a date of December 1st or later will be returned as “admin unacceptable”.
  *
This is not a new requirement and is to support our upgrade to the digital permitting system where these certifications will be tied to each designer’s profile.
