lang=EN>RIDEM is seeking an interested individual to serve on the Technical
Review Committee (TRC) for Alternative and Experimental (A/E) OWTS
Technologies. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style='border:none;padding:0in'><span lang=EN style='font-size:11.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The TRC is a volunteer advisory committee,
with responsibilities defined in Rule 37.7.2 of the OWTS regulations, that
meets periodically, usually monthly, to review new technology applications and
discuss policy issues related to use of A/E technology. The TRC as a body
provides technical advice to RIDEM and makes recommendations to RIDEM on the
acceptability of new OWTS technology use in Rhode Island and special conditions
for use. Members serve on a voluntary basis with an indefinite period or term
of service.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style='border:none;padding:0in'><span lang=EN style='font-size:11.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The preferred candidate at this time would be
a RIDEM-licensed OWTS installer with experience in A/E technology installation.
To avoid a potential conflict of interest, we ask that respondents not be a
manufacturer or manufacturer's vendor representative of an A/E technology.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style='border:none;padding:0in'><span lang=EN style='font-size:11.0pt;
font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>Interested individuals should submit a letter
of interest by March 12, 2012 to Deb Knauss, using one of the options below.
The letter should describe your current work related to OWTS design and
installation, your knowledge of alternative technology, and why you believe you
should be selected to serve on the committee.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
