<p class="MsoNormal">Per <u>Rule 6.9.I</u> of the <i>Rules Establishing Minimum Standards Relating to Location, Design, Construction and Maintenance of Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems</i> (250-RICR-150-10-6) (the “OWTS Regulations”):<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><i>“The use of acid and organic chemical solvents in any OWTS is hereby prohibited. The Department does not recognize any additive product as being beneficial to the operation of an OWTS.”</i><o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This rule also applies to Cesspools. <o:p></o:p></p>
