<p class="MsoNormal"><b>Effective Friday April 10, 2020</b> the RIDEM Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems (OWTS) Program will no longer mail hard copies of Certificates of Conformance to system owners and municipal building officials.<o:p></o:p></p>

<li class="MsoListParagraph" style="margin-left:0in;mso-list:l0 level1 lfo2"><b>Downloading a Certificate of Conformance</b> - Starting today when a Certificate of Conformance is issued by the RIDEM OWTS Program it will be available for download on the DEM
website (<a href="http://www.dem.ri.gov/septic">www.dem.ri.gov/septic</a>) at the start of the next business day. To download an electronic copy of a Certificate of Conformance you may do so by performing an online permit search using the instructions provided
on our website. Please note that the online Certificate of Conformance capability has been available on the website for several years already therefore the only significant change is that the RIDEM OWTS Program will no longer be mailing hard copies in an effort
to reduce waste and streamline our permitting process.<o:p></o:p></li></ol>

</b>To assist municipal officials we will also be posting a list of recently conformed OWTS applications on a weekly basis. The list is interactive and can be sorted directly from the website. To obtain access to this information there are two options:<o:p></o:p></li></ol>
