[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - decrease commercial Summer flounder possession limit

SUBJECT:      RI Marine Fisheries regulation amendment

 

An amendment will be filed tomorrow, April 10, 2015.  In summary, the
changes are as follows:

 

PART III - MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
3.1.4 - This filing is to DECREASE the commercial possession limit for
Summer flounder to 100 pounds/vessel/day; and to 1,000
pounds/vessel/week for vessels participating in the Summer Flounder
Aggregate Landing Program, beginning 12:01AM on Sunday, April 12, 2015.
[This regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].
