[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - CLOSE Aggregate Fluke; Increase Bluefish and Scup

Hello,

 

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed
tomorrow, August 16th, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

 

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This amendment closes the commercial Summer Flounder Aggregate
Program (50 lbs/vsl/day); increases the commercial possession limit for
Bluefish to 7,000 lbs/vessel/week; and increases the commercial
possession limit for Scup general category to 7,500 lbs/vsl/week,
beginning 12:01AM on Sunday, August 16, 2015. [This regulation amendment
becomes effective upon filing].
