[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - Decrease commerical possession limit for Fluke and Bluefish

Hello,

 

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed
tomorrow, July 24th, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

 

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This amendment decreases the commercial possession limit for
Bluefish to 200 lbs/vessel/day beginning 12:01AM on Sunday, July 26,
2015; and decreases the commercial possession limit for Summer flounder
to 50 lbs/vessel/day, and 350 lbs/vessel/week for vessels permitted in
the Aggregate Program, beginning 12:01AM on Sunday, July 26, 2015. [This
regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].
