[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation Amendment - Commercial Trip Possession Limits

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed tomorrow, October 2, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This amendment INCREASES the commercial possession limit for Bluefish to 20,000 lbs/vessel/day beginning 12:01AM on October 4, 2015; INCREASES the commercial possession limit for Scup general category to 18,000 lbs/vessel/day to coincide with the federal Winter II commercial possession limit beginning 12:01AM on November 1, 2015; and DECREASES the commercial possession limit for Black sea bass to 50 lbs/vessel/day at the start of the next sub-period beginning on 12:01 on November 1, 2015 (currently closed). [This regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].
