[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - Close Commercial Striped Bass; Increase Scup

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed today,
September 18th, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

 

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This amendment INCREASES the possession limit for Scup general
category to 10,000 lbs/vessel/week beginning 12:01AM on Sunday,
September 20, 2015; and CLOSES the commercial fishery for Striped Bass
general category beginning 12:01AM on Monday, September 21, 2015. [This
regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].
