NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS

 NRCS EQIP Oyster Monitoring



Please be advised that the National Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) in collaboration with the Rhode Island (RI) Department of Environmental Management (DEM), and RI Coastal Resource Management Council (CRMC) is seeking to qualify individuals as potential contractors for oyster monitoring services that are required for the evaluation of restoration activities supported by the NRCS Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) Oyster Restoration Project.



The monitoring will occur at EQIP Oyster Restoration Projects located in Ninigret Pond, Charlestown RI, and Bissel Cove, North Kingstown RI. A brief overview of the EQIP Oyster Restoration Project Monitoring Requirements are attached. Further information concerning the specific obligations required to be performed as part of the oyster monitoring services are available from Gary Casabona (NRCS) at 401.822-8837 or via email at Gary.Casabona at ri.usda.gov.



Individuals who wish to be qualitied as potential contractors should submit a letter of interest and resume or curriculum vitae (CV) to Eric Schneider (DEM) via email at Eric.Schneider at dem.ri.gov<mailto:Eric.Schneider at dem.ri.gov> before 4:00pm (EDT) on August 15th, 2016. Applications will be reviewed by a committee composed of representatives from NRCS, DEM, and CRMC.
