[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendments filed

Amendments to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations were filed resulting from the public hearing held on November 20, 2017, and RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting held December 4, 2017. Regulations filed are currently in effect and are as follows:


  *   Part 1 - Definitions and General Provisions:  Amendment regarding the definition of "resident".
  *   Part 3 - Finfish:  Amendment regarding commercial management of Summer flounder, Black sea bass, and Spiny dogfish.
  *   Part 11 - Regulations Governing Education Certification for Commercial Shellfish Harvesters:  Adoption of a new regulation regarding education requirements for harvesters of shellfish.
  *   Part 6 - General Equipment Provisions:  Amendment regarding gillnet tagging requirements.
