* Notice to Fishermen *

This notice serves as a reminder of regulations regarding commercial Summer flounder harvest:

Please be reminded that commercial Summer flounder is currently open at 50 pounds per vessel per day, and that the fishery is closed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday each week. There is no commercial harvest, possession, or landing of Summer flounder on these days.

Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.  Current commercial and recreational possession limits can be found by calling (401) 423-1920, or visiting the Marine Fisheries webpage at http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/fish-wildlife/marine-fisheries/mfsizes.php.
