PRE-HEARING WORKSHOP



Please be advised that the DEM Division of Marine Fisheries will be holding a Pre-hearing workshop on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 5:30PM at the URI Bay Campus, Coastal Institute Building, Hazard Room, S. Ferry Road, Narragansett.  The workshop agenda is as follows:

AGENDA


1.         Whelk pot tagging program.

2.         Whelk measurement definitions.

3.         Horseshoe crab management in coastal ponds.

4.         Upper Narr. Bay Trawling Area regulations regarding clarification of language for periods open/closed for trawling, and correction of area description.

5.         Other proposals from industry/public.

6.         Adjourn.



Please be advised that the public hearing is scheduled for February 11, 2019.
