[Rimarinefisheries] FW: Regulation amendments

[RI Marine Fisheries]

Regulations were amended to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations, resulting from the public hearing that was held on November 12th, and RI Marine Fisheries Council held  December 2nd.  Regulations filed included:


  *   Part 3 – Finfish (250-RICR-90-00-3)<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-3>
  *   Part 12 - Research Pilot Aggregate Program (250-RICR-90-00-12)<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-12>
  *   Part 13 - Cooperative Multi-State Possession and Landing Pilot Program for Summer Flounder (250-RICR-90-00-13<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-13/10899> (new adoption)



For Part 3, please see the attached final rule, which is attached as the link to the final rule on the Sec. of State’s webpage is inaccurate (refers to a different rule).  This will be corrected on or around the new year.  For Part 12 (amendment), please click on the yellow “View details” tab to view the final rule and rule-making documents filed.



All rules are effective January 1, 2020.



Part 1 – Definitions and General Provisions<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-1>, and Part 4 – Shellfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-4> are currently under review by the Office of Regulatory Reform and are anticipated to be filed in the next few days.



Please also note that participation application forms are currently being developed for the Research Pilot Aggregate Program and Cooperative Multi-State Possession and Landing Pilot Program for Summer Flounder.  Please stay tuned for a listserve announcement when application forms are available.
