MEETING NOTICE

PRE-HEARING INDUSTRY ADVISORY COMMITTEE (IAC )/COMMERCIAL LICENSING WORKSHOP



Please be advised that the DEM Division of Marine Fisheries will be holding a pre-hearing workshop on Thursday, May 30, 2019 at 5:00 PM at the URI Bay Campus, Coastal Institute Building, Hazard Room, S. Ferry Road, Narragansett.



The purpose of this workshop is to discuss possible amendments to the Departments regulations "Commercial and Recreational Saltwater Fishing Licensing Regulations", which will be brought to public hearing in September as part of our regular annual cycle to review and/or amend these regulations.  Any amendments made as part of this hearing cycle would go into effect for January 2020.



At this workshop the Division will present items currently in our regulatory queue, and solicit any new proposals from interested persons.  Persons with proposals for amendments are strongly encouraged to attend.
