Beginning July 9th, Vineyard Wind will perform Geophysical surveys in portions of the Vineyard Wind Lease Area OCS-A-501.

GEOPHYSICAL SURVEYS

Dear Fishermen:

Beginning on Thursday, July 9th, Vineyard Wind will perform Geophysical surveys in the southern portion of Vineyard Wind Lease Area (OCS-A 0501), and along a small corridor of the northern portion of Vineyard Wind Lease Area (OCS-A 0501.) Vineyard Wind anticipates completion of this work in October.

The work will be conducted by two survey vessels – the LEEWAY ODYSSEY and the EGS VENTUS. Tom Hill is the Onboard Fisheries Liaison for LEEWAY ODYSSEY, which will begin its survey work this week. Eric Hannan is the Onboard Fisheries Liaison for the EGS VENTUS. Both vessels will stand by on VHF Channels 13 & 16.
