MEETING NOTICE
VIRTUAL REGULATORY WORKSHOP
Please be advised the DEM Division of Marine Fisheries will hold a virtual workshop on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, beginning at 5:00 PM.  The purpose of this workshop is to discuss possible amendments regarding commercial licensing matters as pertaining to the Departments regulations "Part 2 - Commercial and Recreational Saltwater Fishing Licensing Regulations<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-2>" that would be adopted for the 2021 license year (i.e., would become effective January 1, 2021).  At this workshop the Division will discuss regulatory items currently under consideration by the Department, and solicit any new proposals from interested persons.  This meeting will be held via ZOOM WEBINAR<http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/VirtualMeetingGuide.pdf> only.  Login information will be provided in a subsequent email prior to the date of the workshop, please stay tuned.
Persons with proposals for amendments are strongly encouraged to attend.  Any proposals, whether specific or conceptual, may be submitted in advance of the meeting, and should be submitted to John Lake via email at john.lake at dem.ri.gov<mailto:john.lake at dem.ri.gov>.
