Please be advised that amendments to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations, Part 3 – Finfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-3>, were filed today, resulting from the public hearing that took place on February 10, 2020, and RI Marine Fisheries Council on March 2, 2020.  The effective date for this rule is April 2, 2020.

The filing includes the new rule for the 2020 recreational striped bass fishery.  The Director’s decision pertaining to that rule is set forth in a supplemental memo, attached to her main decision memo, which is available on the Division’s webpage here<http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/dir02102020.pdf>.
