[Rimarinefisheries] Tautog and Whelk Pot Tags

[RI Marine Fisheries]

The staff of DEM's Division of Marine Fisheries and Coastal Resources office are still working and remain committed to serving customer needs. At present, information and customer services are being provided by phone, mail, or email.  Additionally, we now have the ability to issue tags for the Tautog and Whelk pot tagging programs via mail. It is strongly recommended that you call or email the office with any questions.

Applications can be downloaded from the Division web site:

Whelk Pot Tags:  http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/wlkpot.pdf.
Tautog Tags and Applicator:  http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/bnatres/marine/pdf/tautogtag.pdf

Please follow the instructions on the form.  Tag orders may only be made with a check or money order at this time. Please double check the amount to ensure it is correct, as incorrect orders will be mailed back to the applicant.  Orders will be processed on Tuesdays and Fridays and mailed directly to the applicant.
