PROPOSED REGULATION AMENDMENTS
Please be advised that the Division of Marine Fisheries has publicly noticed the following regulations to consider proposed amendments:

  1.  Part 1 – Definitions and General Provisions:

Summary of Rulemaking Action:

  1.  Section 1.9(D):  Amend the transiting provision to provide for the harvest of summer flounder and black sea bass in the marine waters of Rhode Island while in possession of the current authorized possession limit as provided by the Massachusetts Pilot Program.
  2.  Section 1.15:  Add sand lance to species list

A public hearing will be held virtually via Zoom on April 5, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Interested parties are invited to provide written comments concerning the proposed amendments until April 15, 2021.
