Attention Rhode Island Lobster Fishery Participants

The RIDEM Division of Marine Fisheries is holding an informational meeting on Monday November 8th, 2021 at 5:00pm to continue to inform the Rhode Island Lobster industry on a relief package available from NOAA Fisheries to provide assistance to those participants affected by the Final Rule to Amend the Atlantic Large Whale Take Reduction Plan<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.fisheries.noaa.gov/action/final-rule-amend-atlantic-large-whale-take-reduction-plan-reduce-risk-serious-injury-and__;!!KKphUJtCzQ!czb3rB7UiHND9ykQiSFAXZ0INg7ZUzMJbIACvBzzpJTRF67OPzo9hAGX8F_NFBCm37M4T-CPQOx5$ [fisheries[.]noaa[.]gov]>. The Department will be presenting the status on NOAA's spend plan and is seeking additional industry input on the plan for the relief package.

This meeting will be both in-person and virtual (zoom).
