Please be advised that the following regulations have been filed for amendment resulting from the public hearing held on February 7th and RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting held on March 7th.

The effective date of these filed amendments is April 13, 2022. Please note that amendments regarding recreational tautog and commercial tautog tagging will not be filed until after the next Council meeting scheduled for April 4th, 2022, with an anticipated effective date of May 1, 2022 (Part 3 – Finfish).

Please also be advised that with this filing, permit applications are now being accepted for the Research Aggregate Pilot Program.  The application form is attached and can also be found on the Division’s webpage here<http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/marine-fisheries/forms-permits.php>.   The application deadline is April 8, 2022.
