[Rimarinefisheries] Rhode Island Department of State Rules and Regulations Notification

[RI Marine Fisheries]

Please be advised that regulations "Commercial Marine Fishing Licenses, Landing Permits, and Party and Charter Licenses (250-RICR-90-00-2)<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/Regulations/part/250-90-00-2?reg_id=12816>" have been filed resulting from the public hearing held on September 12, 2022 and RI Marine Fisheries Council held on October 11, 2022.  Changes include the following:


  *   Exit:entry ratio for the Unlimited Finfish endorsement changed from 1:2 to 1:1 (section 2.7.4(C)(4)(a));
  *   Maintained 1:1 exit:entry ratio for the Unlimited Shellfish endorsement (no change to rule) (section 2.7.4(C)(4)(b));
  *   No Multipurpose Vessel License are to be issued prior to January 1, 2024 (section 2.7.4(C)(2)(e));
  *   Other more minor changes throughout rule (as noticed)
