[Rimarinefisheries] Tautog Tagging Survey

[RI Marine Fisheries]

ATTENTION RI COMMERCIAL TAUOG FISHERY PARTICIPANTS

RIDMF and ASMFC are seeking information from commercial fishermen and commercial seafood dealers on the coastwide commercial tautog tagging program.  Results of the data collected will be presented to the Tautog Management Board.  The goal of the tagging program is to minimize illegal harvest activity, get a better reporting experience with the tagging program, and identify areas for improvement where possible.
If you are a commercial fisherman or represent a commercial seafood dealer who participates in the commercial tautog fishery, please fill out the appropriate survey linked/attached.  All feedback is appreciated for this survey.  Please submit all responses to RIDMF by Wednesday May 3, 2023.

The electronic survey results will automatically be forwarded to RIDMF staff.
