[Rimarinefisheries] eTRIPS/mobile survey

[RI Marine Fisheries]

ACCSP, in collaboration with its state and federal partners, is conducting a survey about potential improvements to the eTRIPS/mobile reporting application. eTRIPS/mobile is a trip-level reporting application used by both state and federal commercial and for-hire fishers to report their trip, effort, and catch information. eTRIPS/mobile is available on Android, IOS, and Windows-based devices. We are looking to enhance eTRIPS/mobile to use internal GPS receivers in mobile devices to record locations, plot live locations on a map, and provide alerts related to pre-set boundaries. This feature will work regardless of cellular network availability. Your participation in this survey will allow us to better prioritize potential improvements to the GPS capabilities of eTRIPS/mobile. Participants in the survey will be entered into a lottery to win a gift card. The survey will close at the end of the day on Friday, August, 11. A link to the survey can be found below:
