Please see that attached powerpoint presentation from last night's public hearing.

Please note that there was an error in the slides presented last night in regards to commercial striped bass management proposals; specifically proposal # 2 as presented should have included an additional closed day of Tuesday in addition to Thursday (proposal is that only Monday and Wednesday open each week).  The slides have been corrected to accurately reflect this proposal; the proposed rule as noticed is accurate.  The Division apologies for any confusion this may have caused.

The Division strongly encourages the submittal of comments on the proposed rules.  Staff<https://dem.ri.gov/natural-resources-bureau/marine-fisheries/staff> are available to discuss the proposals and answer any questions.  Please be reminded that the comment period closes Thursday March 23, 4:00pm.  Comments should be submitted to the Division in writing or email to:
