CORRECTION NOTICE - Modification to possession limits and/or seasons for marine species regulated under quota

The possession limit below applies to all vessels, not permitted vessels only as previously listed


  1.  Beginning 12:00AM on Sunday, March 26, 2023, the possession limit for the Black Sea Bass will be seven hundred fifty (750) pounds per vessel per week until the next sub period begins on May 1, 2023 at fifty (50) pounds per vessel per day
Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.  Current commercial possession limits can be found by calling (401) 423-1920, or visiting the Marine Fisheries webpage at http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/marine-fisheries/mfsizes.php.
