PROPOSED REGULATION AMENDMENTS
Please be advised that the Division of Marine Fisheries has publicly noticed the following regulation(s) to consider proposed amendments:
1.      Part 1 – Definitions and General Provisions<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/promulgations/part/250-90-00-1>
·         Proposed amendments to section 1.8 “Possession Limit and Vessel Operating Compliance” to clarify possession limits authorized per specified time period
·         Proposed amendments to section 1.9 “Transiting” to clarify rule and update section consistent with federal rules
·         Proposed amendments to section 1.13 "Shellfish and Marine Life Management Areas" to revise for locational language and add table of the Management Areas Landmark locations including links of landmarks to google maps

2.      Part 3 - Finfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/promulgations/part/250-90-00-3>
·         Proposed amendments to commercial black sea bass management (section 3.9.2)
·         Proposed amendments to commercial scup management (section 3.10.2)
·         Proposed amendments to commercial summer flounder management (section 3.12.2)
o   IMPORTANT!  Please refer to the supplemental document provided (attached) for the noticed and submitted proposals

3.      Part 14 - Summer Flounder Exemption Certificate Program<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/promulgations/part/250-90-00-14>
·         Proposed amendment to the summer flounder poundage authorized by the summer flounder exemption certificate from 200 pounds to 300 pounds.

4.      Part 23 - Aggregate Program for Summer Flounder and Black Sea Bass<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/promulgations/part/250-90-00-23>
·         IMPORTANT!  Please refer to the supplemental document provided (attached) for the noticed and submitted proposals
