ZNOTICE

Modification to possession limits and/or seasons for marine species regulated under quota


  1.  Beginning 12:00AM on Sunday, October 8, 2023, the possession limit for Bluefish will be eight thousand (8,000) pounds per vessel per week until further notice, or until the next sub-period begins November 16, 2023 at five hundred (500) pounds per vessel per week.
Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.  Current commercial possession limits can be found by calling (401) 423-1920, or visiting the Marine Fisheries webpage here<https://dem.ri.gov/natural-resources-bureau/marine-fisheries/marine-fisheries-minimum-sizes-possession-limits>.
