[Rimarinefisheries] Trawling prohibited the Upper Narragansett Bay Marine Life Management Area beginning Thursday, Nov. 2

[RI Marine Fisheries]

Please be reminded beginning 12:00am on Thursday, November 2nd, trawling is prohibited the Upper Narragansett Bay Marine Life Management Area.  The Upper Narragansett Bay Trawling Area includes the waters north of a line extending from Spink Neck in the town of North Kingstown to Pine Hill Point on Prudence Island, and from Homestead Dock on the easterly shore of Prudence Island to the Hog Island Shoal Light in the town of Bristol; and south of a line extending from Sandy Point to the southern tip of Warwick Point in the city of Warwick; and from the dock at Rocky Point in the city of Warwick to the southern tip of Poppasquash Point to Hog Island Shoal Light in the town of Bristol (please see attached).  This area will reopen to trawling on July 1, 2024.
