[Rimarinefisheries] 2025 lobster trap tag ordering

[RI Marine Fisheries]

Please be advised that order forms for lobster trap tags for the 2025 season is now available (attached).   Please refer to the attached order form for details.  Order forms can also be found on the Division's webpage here<https://dem.ri.gov/natural-resources-bureau/marine-fisheries/forms-permit-applications>.

State waters trap tags:  2024 state waters trap tags remain valid and must remain affixed to traps through May 31, 2025.  2025 state waters trap tags must be affixed to traps beginning June 1, 2025 and remain valid through May 31, 2026.
Federal trap tags (federal permit holders):  2024 federal trap tags remain valid and must remain affixed to traps through April 30, 2025.  2025 federal trap tags must be affixed to traps beginning May 1, 2025 (NOAA deadline for affixing 2025 trap tags to lobster traps is June 1, 2025) and remain valid through April 30, 2026.
