<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">In accordance with the CARES Act, Rhode Island has received funds for fisheries relief in response to COVID-19. The funds are meant to provide assistance to eligible fishery<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">participants in the specified categories to address direct and indirect COVID-19 impacts. RIDMF is developing an application for all fishing sectors to apply for relief
funds. The four sectors are:<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="background:white"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;color:black">Per the CARES Act, applications will require applicants to show they had at least a 35% loss in revenue from March - May 2020 in relation to their March-May average from
2015-2019. To help support the application process, RIDMF has created a streamlined data request process for applicants to receive landings data digitally. Persons wishing to request data in support of their applications must submit a fully completed form,
