The RIPDES Program issued a Public Notice for the reissuance of the RIPDES Permits for the Quonset Wastewater Treatment Facility and for the Warren Wastewater Treatment Facility.  The Notice appeared in the Providence Journal on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and is also posted to the DEM website.

Notice should be taken that if DEM receives a request from twenty-five (25) people, a governmental agency or subdivision, or an association having no less than twenty-five (25) members on or before Friday, November 14 at 4:00 PM, a public hearing will be held at 6:00 PM on November 20, 2025.

Interested parties may submit comments on the permit actions and the administrative record no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025.
