The Division of Taxation made a presentation last week in Narragansett about the new tax rules for short-term rentals of residential dwellings, including vacation homes and beach cottages. Meanwhile, the Division of Taxation is finalizing answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) about the new tax rules on short-term rentals of residential dwellings. The agency plans to post the FAQs shortly.
