[Ritaxpronews] Rhode Island Division of Taxation -- deadline postponed to July 15

The deadline for Rhode Island tax filings and payments, normally April 15, has been postponed to July 15 this year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

No late charges will apply to those who file and pay by the new deadline of July 15, 2020, regardless of the amount. The relief is automatic; no additional steps need be taken by taxpayers or tax preparers.
