<p class="MsoNormal">Attendance has been low the past couple of years and we would like to see more of you attend – to engage with your counterparts and to help develop ways to support RI Tree Wardens.

<p class="MsoNormal">This year, based on attendee feedback from 2024, we have Jen West from the Narragansett Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve as our main presenter.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">While that organization might not seem connected to Tree Wardens, Jen is an experienced trainer on topics such a communicating science, engaging with stakeholders, and other aspects of environmental topics. She will be speaking on “Handling
Challenging Interactions” which is something most Tree Wardens have experienced – whether when a resident wants a public tree removed or does NOT want a public tree removed, and other complaints related to trees. So bring your thoughts and examples and join
us.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">We also have our yearly update from RI Energy’s Chris Rooney as well as the status of Spotted Lantern Fly, which you may be experiencing in your community.<o:p></o:p></p>
