But you can prepare better and recover more quickly, saving time and money, while preventing severe risks to public safety.

<b><i>regional workshop on managing the urban forest for disaster resiliency</i></b>. Come join us on<b> June 25<sup>th</sup> in Cranston, RI</b> from<b> 9:30 am-3 pm</b> to build awareness of the processes, contracts and coordination needed to prepare for,
respond to and recover from disasters affecting our urban forests. Trees are a major component of storm debris and proper management before and after a storm can dramatically reduce the amount of debris, increase compensation for debris removals, and ensure
restoration of lost tree cover. Learn about how to prepare by performing tree risk assessments and mitigation, respond by creating standing contracts and planning for storm debris, and recover by including trees in your emergency planning processes, replanting
lost tree cover and upcycling storm debris. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
